The entire school focusing completely one just one thing is like sitting in the middle of a room filled with speakers on full blast, and my psychic earplugs are made out of tissue paper.

This would be why I was absent most of yesterday. Turns out, out in the quarry I can almost not hear you.

It's a great place for that. Word to the wise - if you're not invulnerable, don't hang around the southeast face, it's still not stable and rockslides happen pretty often.
