My apologies to my students - your time with the sub is going to be slightly extended. Combine significant quantities of jet lag and exhaustion to a doctor's order of bed rest and a worried and coddling husband and there's little chance I'll make it in to classes tomorrow. By Monday, though, I should be up and around. Although the recuperating would probably work better if there were slightly less yelling in the hallways. Couldn't make out what it was about, but somehow I don't think I want to know.

Speaking of coddling husbands, though, mine's just brought me dinner. Excellent. I'd say I should do this more often but, really, I so shouldn't.

There's no school on Monday - it's a holiday. So take another day off and feel better. That goes for your coddling husband too.
