Tomorrow

To the uninitiated who have not had me in a class: expect one of my world famous first day quizzes tomorrow.

And for anyone thinking of pulling an out sick excuse, I know where you live and I can tell if you're faking.

(Let the groaning commence.)

Does telling them of the quiz beforehand not defeat the purpose of the quiz?

They still don't know what's in the quiz, right? It's just a quiz, not a pop quiz, and if it's "world famous" people should already know about it. ;)

Ms. Van Dyne is correct.

The goal, my dear Jean-Paul, is discover what they already know and build upon it.

Yay, I win!

Wow, things I don't miss: First day of class quizzes.

[identity profile] x-wasp.livejournal.com 2010-09-08 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
You sure? We can always arrange a special just-for-Kyle quiz if you want! ;)

If you ever change your mind I can have one worked for you.

Something insanely challenging, for old times sake.

If I ever change my mind make sure I'm not possesed by someone who either really likes tests or really hates me.

If it's either one of those then that would be a very interesting day. Make sure you stay on Monet's good side, then.

Has anyone ever told you you have a wicked sense of humor?

[identity profile] x-jeangrey.livejournal.com 2010-09-09 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Why, I'd be offended if someone hadn't.

Girl's got to make her own fun when she spends all day around sick people and bored, inattentive little ones tethered to desks.

[identity profile] x-highflying.livejournal.com 2010-09-09 01:46 am (UTC)(link)
You're reminding me again why I'm glad I am long past my high school days.

[identity profile] x-jeangrey.livejournal.com 2010-09-09 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Couldn't have been that bad. Alright, maybe it could've.

I spent a small portion of those days solely in the company of someone who knew every move you made as you thought of it and another one who could keep the doors and windows shut and locked with the twitch of his eye if even the notion of sneaking out was broached.

I'd like to think we're much more laid back than those days.

(Charles, yes I know it was for my own good.)

[identity profile] x-highflying.livejournal.com 2010-09-09 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, but now you're the teacher who knows every thought and can keep the doors and windows shut, if you wanted. It's funny how things turn out, isn't it?

[identity profile] x-jeangrey.livejournal.com 2010-09-09 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
In theory, yes. Doesn't mean I always will.

Mostly.
