Well, obviously, if you were at breakfast, you already know that I'm home. Hello all, it's good to be back. Tibet was... nice. Very quiet. I've actually been back for a few days, but there was a certain amount of reacquainting myself I needed to do with things like central heat and running water, not to mention that I hadn't seen my husband in months, but now I'm feeling more sorted and thought I should leave the suite. Tried this morning, as those of you who were at breakfast know, and then I had to go lock myself away from the noise for a bit longer. Did I mention that Tibet was very quiet? In comparison, you lot are a stampeding herd of trumpeting elephants. But you're my stampeding herd of trumpeting elephants, and it's good to be home.

And, actually, I've just gone over the class register and it looks like we have several new students. My apologies, you're probably very confused. Hello, I'm Dr. Jean Grey-Summers. I'm one of the teachers here, but I've been on a spiritual sort of finding quest in Tibet for the last for months. I'm home now, and you can look forward to seeing me in your science classes next term and, if the formidable Amelia can be convinced to release her stranglehold on the medlab schedules, you will also have more options there that don't involve a bedside manner straight from soviet Russia.

It really is good to be home.

Very, very true. Not that the MREs the jet stocks are that much better, but you don't have to put up with cranky stewardessess. Unless you count Logan. Heh.

Mind, being upfront and straightforward about it with me now isn't going to save you from having this conversation again with details once I have rescued your file...

Does Logan do the 'when airmasks come down put them on yourself first then help others' speech?

Damnit.

Hah. No. Alas. Although I wonder if he could be bribed to do it for a camera. Modern airlines all have those stupid little videos, and we could make one for the Jet! "In the event of an emergency water landing, Cain can not be used as a flotation device."

I may still be suffering from the time zone change a bit.

It's a safety feature! For the good of the team.

Yes, exactly! But no making bringing drinks on board illegal. I was just reading about that on bbc.com. That's a new level of stupid.

(Scott's going to be cranky if he wakes up and catches me out here. But it's not my fault my body thinks it's a little after noon and time to rake the garden.)

Oh no, Scott cranky? Why that would be new and novel and not at all like anything he's been in the last five months.

Ah, but I haven't seen him in five months, and there's been a definite lack of cranky since I got here.
